A theater review of William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet

When my English class and I went to see Romeo and Juliet one cold Wednesday morning everyone had different expectations. As we had read the drama, written by William Shakespeare, in class, everyone knew the story and it was now up to the actors and actresses to make the play interesting and appealing.
Unfortunately this did not happen. Apart from an annoying Juliet, who jumped about the stage throughout the play, singing at the same time, and several missing parts, which, to my mind, are really important and crucial to any understanding of the drama, the play was good.
One of the funniest characters was, by far, the nanny, played by a working class ‘bloke' from the mid–fifties.
Although the play was very funny at times it was also a bit boring. But this was not the cast's fault, as they were mostly well chosen and matched their characters perfectly. In fact were it not for the cast I would have left the theatre, as at times some members of the audience were being really noisy.
Apart from that the production was not bad, but it was Juliet who stopped me from really enjoying the play.
